We are and will continue to do our best to protect any information sent to us. We have safeguards in place that make it safe to use your credit card online. If you are not comfortable using your credit card number online we provide alternatives. You can have us call you for your credit card number, we can ship your order COD or you can print out your order and mail or fax it to us with a cheque, money order or credit card number. You can also use our printable order form, email us your order, or write it on a piece of paper and mail or fax it to us.

How do we protect your credit card information when you give it to us?
We do not store credit card numbers on our online computer. If someone gains access to our online computer files they will not find your credit card number or personal information. It is all stored offline or on another computer.

When your order is Emailed to us it is 128-bit encrypted by Secure Socket Layer (SSL) software . The only one who can decrypt the information is Canadian Country Gifts. If someone were to intercept an Email message they would not be able to read it - it would be gibberish. SSL is the most widely used encryption method today. Other systems for protecting consumers and retailers online are being developed and as they become widely accepted we will consider using them instead. To check if you are on a secure web page check the address - it should read https not http. Netscape Navigator and Microsoft Explorer also show solid/broken keys or open/closed padlocks to indicate whether you are on a secure page or not.
